I have always liked how The Joker can always seem to hold his own when placed alongside much more powerful super-villains. He may not have any special abilities, but his insanity gives him an unpredictability that can give him the edge over more methodical characters. It's always fun to see him alongside other villains because you are just waiting to see who is going to double-cross who first!
awesome!......and looking forward to seeing much more of The Joker here! He's just too good not to be matched up with more of Marvel's superstars, and some independent publishers' characters as well.
ReplyDeleteIf Micheal Jackson was the King of Pop, The Joker is the King of Villians!
ReplyDeleteLove it. Is the Marvel part of the cover from Acts of Vengeance storyline?
ReplyDeleteYes, it was originally a Thor cover... and I used the Thor image (which was removed to make room for The Joker) for the Superman/Thor Vs. Mongul cover that was posted a while back
ReplyDeleteAnd you managed to squeeze in OHOTMU on top of it all. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteGotta call foul on Dr.Doom and Kang appearing under the "Masters of Evil" banner.Although anything that includes Dr.Doom is instantly cooler.
ReplyDeleteI would love to see you do something with the first incarnation of the Emissaries Of Evil (Electro, Stilt-Man, Gladiator, Matador, Frog-Man) from Daredevil Annual #1.
ReplyDeleteWell, Batman holds his own against world-shakers like Superman and Green Lantern, so it's logical that his arch-nemesis would be equally adroit at dealing with folks like Darkseid or Luthor. (Hell, for that matter, post-1985 Luthor is pretty much just Donald Trump with no hairpiece, disdaining super-armor-suits and death rays for the power of money, an admittedly potent force.)
ReplyDelete(One the topic of villains, have you seen this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdTrxkOT53g )
