Batman and Zorro
Given the strong connections between these two characters, it's surprising that we have never seen them meet up. In the days before comic book film adaptations were a commonplace occurance, heroes like Tarzan, Robin Hood, The Lone Ranger and Zorro were the closest thing to superheroes in the movies, and I would watch anything that featured them. I enjoyed the Antonio Banderas Zorro movies as they reminded me of some of those earlier swashbuckling films. It's been a while though, so I wouldn't mind a new take on Zorro to hit the big or small screen soon.
Well, folks - that's the end of the alphabet! I have one more B&B Cover for tomorrow and that's it for B&B... where to from here? Make sure you tune in on Monday, December 26th for the debut of the all-new Lost Issues Title!
You skipped "Y." How about Yellowjacket?
ReplyDeleteHoy
There is a Yellowjacket cover coming up... but not in B&B!
ReplyDeleteNice Zorro, but for me, the Zorro artists are Yeates and Toth. I do like the current Dynamite book.
ReplyDeleteNext: Superman teamups from DC Comics Presents?
...this ended way too soon.
ReplyDeleteIt's just beginning!
ReplyDeleteHow enigmatic. Looking forward to Boxing Day!
ReplyDeleteHmmm! I don't understand why you skipped Y. Maybe that will be revealed on Monday.
ReplyDeleteJust not a lot of Y characters, that's all - As I said Yellowjacket will be featured. We just saw the Young Allies as well (and they will return too). I never read Youngblood or Y the Last Man or The Yellow Kid so they didn't make the cut. But still, anything's possible... we my see that Yo Yo Ma team up yet one of these days!
ReplyDeleteRoss - Love this! Great match-up and great art combination! That Zorro looks fantastic! Nicely done!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the great Batman and Thing covers! Can't wait to see what you have in store next!
I saw the first Anjtonio Banderas Zorro film and really enjoyed it. haven't seen the second one yet. I'll have to see if the Guy Williams series is on Netflix...
Feliz Navidad!
