Red Tornado and The Hulk

Hopefully they can resolve their differences because this could make for an interesting odd couple.  A monster denying his human side and a robot trying to become more human - on the road, fighting crime... I'd read it!

  1. I'd read this, too, Ross. The only one-on-one team-up I might like even more would be this Red Tornado and the Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider. Just for the hope of you actually using the title...

    "Spin Cycle!"

  2. WHAT A COINCIDENCE THAT U HAD REDDY ON TODAY'S COVER. I JUST ASKED CLAUDE AI S FEW MINUTES AGO WHERE ON EARTH REDDU WOULD B MOST POWERFUL & WEAKEST = IT REPLIED TORNADO ALLEY (OKLAHOMA AREA) 4 STRONGEST & THE MARIANA TRENCH 4 THE WEAKEST (THIS WAS THE PRE-CRISIS, PRE-EARLY 80S TORNADO ENTITY REVEAL VERSION). P.S. NICE COVER & TEAM UP IDEA.

    1. @Anon@8:33... Typing in all caps is hard to read, and comes across as yelling.

    2. He's probably from Earth Thirteen.

  3. On an unrelated note, with the SpongeBob and One Piece Happy Meal being released, maybe Pirates of Dark Water could crossover with One Piece on a cover.

  4. Imagine the first Red Tornado meeting the Hulk... and calming him down with motherliness, followed by a good home-cooked meal. :D

  5. "On the road," Ross? Now, after the recent discussion of Bob Hope, you have me imagining these two in the Hope and Crosby roles. I think Reddy might take the Crosby part; he probably has perfect pitch, even if his singing probably sounds like Autotune. I'm not sure how well Banner could do the wisecracks, though.

And looking at Reddy in this picture makes me think of someone he really should be teamed with some time: Aang (Avatar: The Last Airbender).

    1. Didn't they meet briefly back in the 1970s, in what was officially the Hulk/Batman crossover? I seem to recall seeing an image of that meeting somewhere online...

    2. Oops! Mis-posted the above comment: It was meant as a reply to Detective Tobor's post below this.

  6. Hulk and Wonder Woman 2ould be interesting since she would be helping to keep him "calm"!

    1. In reply to Simreeve's reply above: In the second Superman/Spider-Man tabloid crossover, Superman briefly fought the Hulk and Wonder Woman clashed with Spider-Man, but there were no scenes with WW and Ol' Green Genes together.

  8. Love this cover. How about Vogue from Youngblood going up against Black Widow??

    1. Or, failing that, how about a Jason Mamoa tribute? Aquaman and Blanca 2026 vs. the Death-dealer From The Deep!
