Daredevil and Rorschach

Lee Bermejo's art is unique in the field.  His mastery of light and shadow make him perfect for gritty noir adventures.  His understanding of how different fabrics and materials appear and move give his depiction of superhero costumes a reality that is matched by few others.

  1. Intriguing team-up! Is this the Wm. Kovacs or Malcolm Long version of Rorschach? I only ask because both versions are usually not the type to blindly trust any other superhero enough to work in partnership with them. Let alone, an alleged over-idealist (as they'd probably perceive him) like Daredevil.

  2. Kovacs is the only version I am familiar with.

    1. Malcolm Long was the secret identity of the version from the Doomsday Clock mini-series crossover between JLA and the Watchmen.

  4. I wondered at first, "Why Daredevil? Wouldn't [three other Marvel characters occurring to me simultaneously] be more fitting with this guy?"

Then I saw the title, and it made perfect sense. Well played, Ross.

The most obvious of those candidates -- the Punisher -- has been done. But then there's also Moon Knight, and the Hulk. To say nothing of the Badger, or Judge Dredd.

    1. Has Daredevil ever teamed with Judge Dredd?

    2. @Anon1254: nope! If and when that does happen, here, it'll be a first for Hornhead. But, a 34th appearance for Judge Dredd!

*Poetry both intended and appreciated. ;-D

  7. Ross, it's nice to see that you still care and haven't had a burn out.

    1. @Ross: Like Rorschach, himself, once told the cops (via sticky note on a captured cannibalistic kidnapper); "Never!"

  9. Rorschach and the Punisher trying to kill each other would be interesting.
How many other blind superheroes are there? Zatoichi comes to mind as does Master Po. Madame Web?

Oh, and also Madame Xanadu when the Spectre blinded her so that she couldn't look at her tarot cards to find a way of stopping his 'Day of Vengeance'.
