Delete@Ross: For a second, I thought this was a rematch! But, then, I did some back-tracking. And their prior "face-off" turned out to be merely a promotional logo. As to why they never clashed (even by mistake) on real-world Saturday mornings? Simple: Grape Ape was on ABC and H-B's Godzilla was on NBC! And those networks didn't do crossovers, back then. Not till David E. Kelley did it with "Ally McBeal" and "The Practice."
