Avengers and Green Lantern in: "Infinity Fever!"
Hal Jordan first crossed paths with The Avengers way back in STF #5, an MS Paint effort from 2011. I'd say it was high time for another meeting - although this encounter looks just a fraught with friction as the first!
The clue is in the title. This particular crisis must have something to do with Eternity's little "sister," Infinity (the maternal embodiment of the spatial aspect of the universe). The DC characters, of course, referring to "her" as Rama Kushna. Precisely what is going on, though, is the real question. For instance; is someone trying to get hold of the Infinity Gauntlet, again? Who might that be; Moondragon? Star Sapphire? An alliance of convenience between the two?
Only the One True Guardian of the Ross-verse knows for sure.
Cool cover! I was wondering about any issues GL might have with his obligations to the Guardians of the Universe and his commitments to a super team, like the JLA. Even though there's nothing here that says he has actually joined the Avengers, I'd say they are out of their jurisdiction at any rate.
Hal Jordan in bed surrounded by nothing by females?
ReplyDeleteIf that's just a fever dream, I wouldn't want to be cured! ;-D
Deletewhy are there female Avengers only? plot driven?? Hal still has the ring ?? Something is not real here.

ReplyDeleteMaybe it's just me, but it looks like Hal's ring is glowing yellow. If I'm right, that could be a clue, too.
ReplyDeleteI have a green hue.
DeleteAnd Jennifer Walters is a green she. ;-)
