Space Ghost joins Star Wars

It was only a matter of time before the greatest animated space hero crossed paths with the rebels from a galaxy far, far away.  I think that this is a tale with the potential for grand heroics and wide screen adventure.

  1. On The Flintstone Kids there was a story called Rubble with a Cause with Barney Rubble dreaming was in a Star Wars fantasy with Barney as a spoof of Luke Skywalker; it had Stone Age spoofs of Star Wars technology like slingshot ray guns, etc.

    1. I meant Rubble without a Cause.

  2. "Who Is Darth Brak?"

A Togorian/Cathar mixed-blood, perhaps? The Cathar seem to be the most Force-sensitive of the sentient feline races in the GFFA. And the Togorians seem to love preying on weaker species via space piracy!

    1. And as for the Sith Lord who mentored him? I'll say it was...Darth Zorak of the Kilik!

  3. @ the last two Anons: unfortunately, the Togorians, Cathars, and Kiliks are all just "Legends", now. :-(

  4. @Carycomic: not in the Ross-verse, they're not! Speaking of which....

@Ross: Would the Council of Doom's Spider-Widow be a Nightsister of the Dathomirian Spider Clan in your universe? Backed up by Charon mercenaries, perhaps?

  5. I don't know that there are any suitably matching samples of art, but I think it would be fun if Space Cabbie were to give a ride to Jar Jar Binks.

  6. The cover you posted last month featuring Yoda reminded me of Space Ghost- he'd have looked good in Thanos' place as Yoda's opponent.

    1. How about Deadpool vs. the Hit Man's Bodyguard?

  9. This has me thinking about a crossover between the USS Enterprise crew from the animated Star Trek series and the Galaxy Trio, who at the time were clearly based on Star Trek characters. Perhaps fighting against something/someone from an animated Star Wars program or the animated Legion of Super Heroes?

    1. How about Murro the Marauder who had the power to bring shadows to quasi-sentient life? Or the evil blue-skinned sorceress Medusa? Both were enemies of Roy "Birdman" Randall. But it was strongly implied they might be immortal. And, failing that, either of them could be brought to the 23rd century by another Birdman foe: Dr. Millenium!
