Ha, I'd almost forgotten about that! My comment yesterday came from the mention of Ron Wilson, which, thanks to Disney's Sky High, I can't hear at all without mentally adding "Bus Driver!" after. Definitely the best character in the entire movie! If you've watched the movie yourself, you'll understand!
Another great cover. Well done.
ReplyDeleteA nice sequence of progression. From Man of Steel to Iron Man. Great job, Ross! :-)
ReplyDeleteP.S. @ Ben W---how did you know, so early yesterday, that there'd be a bus driver on today's cover?

DeletePretty cool, but I think you should have left the Superman promo on the bus.
ReplyDeletecan't kill...just move. put him in space like the Hulk. ...or..try to 'drain' Grundy's "batteries"!
ReplyDeleteI think it might have been extra interesting if the ad on the side had been switched up to Rogers: The Musical.
ReplyDeleteOr even the Bat-musical...Dynamic Duets!
DeleteH.H.HORSEFEATHERS has a dc queery that goes If S. Grundy was put in a Lazerous pit What would be the results?
ReplyDeleteWould he go Stark raven mad?
ReplyDeleteOnly if Shellhead and Trigon's estranged daughter were there.
Delete;-)
I agree the Supes promo should've stayed. Also why is the Cheetah in the tags down below?

DeleteI guess you could say she's long since gotten the HHH out of there. ;-)
DeleteAnd there was no way the bus line could change the promo. They have an iron-clad contract with the ad agency! ;-)
Deletethat wasn't HHH.
ReplyDeleteI stand corrected.
