Excellent! Not only seasonally appropriate (with regard to the old Universal Monster classics that this is clearly a homage to). But, you also show us that the Ross-verse time war might be heating up, even further!
There is also a Man-Fish in the old Sea Devils comic. He comes across as a parody of Namor, but I am not sure he was intended as a parody. Its hard to tell what is suppose to be taken seriously in some Silver Age comics.
the Dr used only the best from Homes and Gardens! It was only a 'plot' against him that said he made any kind of a GRAVE mistake!! But i'll let the rest just rest.
Wow. Great pairing!!!

ReplyDeletePay no attention to the man at the control panel.
ReplyDeleteIt's merely Dr. Millennium...whose blurry old eyes mistook Man-Bat for Birdman.
DeleteAs natural as this pairing is for reasons that go beyond just the confluence of the names, I'd still like to see more of Man-Bat and the Lizard.
ReplyDeletewith Man-Bat & Man-Wolf here, there is one more who should share the spotlight...Dr Frankenstein's Monster aka MAN-PARTS!! it seems only fair!!
ReplyDelete*Snicker!* He said "Man-Parts." X-D

DeleteHey! There's an idea for a sequel; Sherlock Holmes and Guy Gardener.
