The Green Lantern Corps is truly an interplanetary organization, so why not have E.T. join their ranks? A ring would certainly ensure that he would not get stranded again, at least!

ReplyDeleteEither way, ET is a rewrite of the unmade Close Encounters sequel whose premise/plot eventually became Gremlins - whose lead is wearing Marty McFly's parka for some reason.
Well, being the leading botanists of their own far-away galaxy, they were searching for a certain Gardner who was strong in the Force to aid the Rebellion. But, they couldn't find that Guy...so they settled for Hal Jordan.
