Doc Samson and Two-Face
Harvey Dent indeed needs therapy, and who better to administer it than a super-strong shrink? It would certainly be an interesting process to watch play out.
Yes, it would. Especially, if it turned out that "Two-Face" was actually the Composite Superman in disguise! Why? Because Deadpool had "stolen" his "girlfriend" (Copycat) and wanted Doc's help in rescuing her. From Kahndaq!
I always enjoyed Doc Samson's appearances in the 70s and 80s. He would have made a great addition to the Avengers as a resident mental health advisor to the team.
You've made some great team-up ideas about Harvey's duel personalities & his coin over the years, but I think his split suit look is a missed opportunity of riches yet to be mined. I think having him go up against the Odd Man & 2 Marvel characters who have offbeat suits would work out great for something different. Harley Quinn's new look (with the split costume) begs for a Harvey team-up without the Joker in the mix. Maybe with the 3-D Man & Mercurio as opponents.
Or Composite Superman for that matter, in reference to Eclipso and Two Face teaming up. Maybe they should form a group together the way you sometimes do along with DC's obscure multi-alien character from the 1960s? Even Moon Knight would drool in envy over joining such a team bit physically would not quialify.
I'd rather see Eclipso take on Batman and Moon Knight. While Composite Superman could take on the entire Shiar Imperial Guard! As for Two-Face? Save him for the craziest twosome of all. Deadpool and the Badger!
Correction: they first met back in June 2010 @ TB&TB: TLI #111! Followed by STF #318. But, I decided to paraphrase and summarize for the benefit of those who dislike back-tracking without the benefit of blue highlighted links--Cary.

ReplyDeleteJust a thought.
Wow! Just 23 more days till the next super-group mash-up?! How about...Composite Superman vs. the entire Shiar Imperial Guard?

ReplyDeletein the 1960s, Ross, you might have done a story of Doc Sampson (with glass cutters) vs Brainiac!!
ReplyDeleteEverything...is.. shrinkable!
ReplyDeleteLol! Would Doc Samson even suspect such a trap before it "Sprang"?

ReplyDeleteRoss, you could do a mini-series where Doc Sampson does therapy work for various Arkham Asylum patients.
ReplyDelete@Anon1148: how do you think he'd fare trying to rehab Eclipso?
DeleteImo a good match-up would be Two Face and the classic version of Eclipso, because... well... isn't it obvious?
ReplyDeleteOnly if they're double-teaming Doc Samson!

ReplyDeleteI mean, the Dark Knight and Moon Knight haven't worked together since the old days (of TB&TB: THE LOST ISSUES)!
DeleteI'd willingly fork over sixty cents for that latter team-up. I can just see Deadpool's word balloon, now: "Badger? I don't need any stinking Badger!"
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, Two-Face is over to one side, flipping his coin, to see whether or not the F.G.G. firing squad will shoot.
DeleteCary: they Met in STF: https://braveandboldlost.blogspot.com/2014/02/batman-and-moon-knight-in-winner-takes.html

DeleteSo asking for a fourth team-up between them, ten years (and over forty-two hundred issues) later, does not seem that unreasonable a request.
