Falcon and Wildcat

These two heroes are used to more down to Earth, street level villains, so they might be over their heads when dealing with a cosmic entity like The Stranger.  I wouldn't count them out, though!

  1. Is that maybe The Stranger or is the Collector impersonating him?

    1. I think it's more likely Jakar from CAPT. AMERICA v.1/#149 (circa 1972) who took on both Cap and Falcon disguised as the Stranger. But, who was double-crossed by Batroc the Leaper and his self-proclaimed brigade when they learned Jakar was out to steal Earth kids for some kind of cosmic reanimation of his extra-dimension race!

  2. Whoa! There's a combination! Would Wildcat and The Falcon be more like "The Odd Couple"? Battling each other while fighting the bad guy? That's almost a fun thing to read! "Will these two ever get over their differences long enough to beat the bad guy?"

  3. I think The Falcon may have been one of the heroes Wildcat trained in this Universe.

    1. Yeah, Jakar's matrix. You can tell by the dark hair.

    2. See "Cap & The Falcon" v.1/#150 (@ Comic Vine) for proof.

  6. The Stranger was influenced by Kraven for this hunt of these two of nature's based heroes!! New abilities he is trying out. O:-)

    1. I'm genuinely surprised there's never been an Elder of the Universe called The Hunter.
