It looks like Reddy has reverted back to his original form for this tale. It's nice to see him getting along with Ororo after they had clashed in STF #2441, due to events that took place way back in STF #82...

To be honest, I was never too enthused about the red-and-gold outfit. I thought it made him look like a color mutation of Chronos!* Thanks for bringing back the original costume. :-)

Hopefully, Reddy will get his second wind, and the two will later fight side-by-side -- perhaps to protect Chicago from some dire threat.
ReplyDeleteThe Red and Yellow costume was designed by Dick Dillin and was his best costume. The costume shown here was the one he started with when he had no face and explosion in JLA JSA crossover catapulted him to Earth 1. There his head was remolded to have a face by a blind hermit who was his creator T. O. Morrow..
