Justice League of America and Captain America
Captain America first encountered the JLA way back in STF #250..., an early MS Paint effort. It looks like his investigation there took a dark turn, leading to this long-overdue sequel!
Seriously, though: this is an unexpected sequel to say the least! Brilliantly eye-catching both in terms of the original cover artist and yourself. I can only hope this finally leads up to my long-fantasized Rossverse confrontation: the JLA vs. the Legion of Dr. Doom!
Epic looking cover! Who would ever imagine Captain America dead. Is that from one of the silver age comics of Captain America, if so which one, I'd like to read the issue.
"MS Pain"? Is that a Freudian slip? ;-)

ReplyDeleteThis might not really be Steve. It might actually be a Life Model Decoy.
DeleteI know it's a different cover, but I can't help thinking "Captain America Dies at Dawn".
ReplyDeleteIs Cap or Spidy the figurehead for Marvel now? the J.L.A. would be interesting to see Steve working with each member as in the early League days.
ReplyDeleteIs this Steve Rogers or someone else? I have notice that anyone who becomes Captain America other than Steve Rogers either ends up dead or insane.
ReplyDeleteWell, let's put it this way. It's obviously not Sam Wilson!
