I always liked the story when Iron Man and Doctor Doom were forced to work together when they were stuck in medieval times. I thought I would give that concept its own STF spin. The jury is still out for me as far as Tony Stark becoming Doctor Doom, though - we'll have to see how the movies handle that.
In an issue of WHAT IF...?, Iron Man wound up becoming King Arthur!
ReplyDeleteMaybe for the next phase of Marvel Films, Arno Stark would become the next Iron Man. But, he's soon disgracing the name. Leading to the revelation that the Tony Stark who died in AVENGERS: Endgame was a Skrull/clone/LMD.
Technically, he became King Arthur's successor.
DeleteNot looking forward to Tony Stark as Doctor Doom. On other hand I would have no problem with Robert Downey Jr. playing Doctor Doom if he was not doing another character as well.
ReplyDeleteAppears Marvel Films is doing this due to poor sales post Endgame.
You never know- they may somehow pull it off- but I really don't like the idea of Tony being Doctor Doom. Doom's one of the all-time great comic book characters, and he was practically written to be a movie villain. He should be his own character, not a version of another character.
ReplyDeleteI have an idea for the next metal related story. How about the Metal Men team up with Doc Savage, the man of bronze?
ReplyDeleteMetal Men team with X-Men!! Sentinels make X'ers wary. or Robo Force.
ReplyDeleteDoom will do 'anything' for his Country!!
How about Daredevil vs. Judge Dredd?
ReplyDeleteHave you ever considered having the Lone Ranger facing up against Eric Cord's TV werewolf? Or any werewolf for that matter. After all, may as well make those silver bullets count for *something.*
ReplyDeleteSee STF #2029 from 11/2/2017.
DeleteI LOVE THR LR MEETS A WEREWOLF IDEA
ReplyDeleteGREAT THINKIN THERE
Thanks, but evidently he already did it years ago and I must have forgotten as I have seen every one of his drawings at one point or another. Oh well. One of these days I'll think of a good idea first. :-)
DeleteHehe. Once again I think I have a great original idea, only to be months or in this case years too late. I must have even seen this one way back when, only to then forget I saw it.
ReplyDeleteOh well, one of these days I'll get it right.
Thank you for your reply. :-)
