Rambo and 4 Famous Co-Stars
Now this is the type of Super-Team cartoon I would have loved back in the day. The biggest action stars of my youth working together, count me in. Heck, let's consider that to be the shark from Jaws up there and throw him into the mix!
When Chuck Norris jumps in the water, he doesn't get wet. The water gets Chuck Norris..........Chuck Norris can slam a revolving door..........When ghosts go camping, they sit around the camp fire and tell Chuck Norris stories..........Chuck Norris counted to infinity--twice.
@Sonofjack: if Chuck Norris never got wet, jumping into water, it's probably because he was remembering Bruce Lee's sage advice: "Be water, my friend." :-)
@Ross: as a Saturday morning cartoon afficionado since 1966, I empathize with your memories of childhood wonderment. In fact, I wouldn't have been surprised if that shark was actually Jayna of the Wondertwins
shame he couldn't get Wonder Woman as well. She did appear on the Brady Kids cartoon series. Those tv movies for Saturday morning could have been used.
One of your worse covers in my opinion. I can't tell if Norris is jumping off some land or the shark. I also don't know why Rambo is on a shark to begin with. Is Mr. T floating above the ground & if so why? It's like an old Colorforms picture with too much going on in it. Batman & Robocop would've worked fine with just those two images. Maybe a flying Marvel hero instead of Norris (like Namor who would fit in with the water image Bats is swinging over).

DeleteIf so, then the splash behind her is her brother Zan. Taking the form of a waterspout to keep her gill slits properly moistened!
DeleteWith Chuck Norris showing up with a Texas size of ego none of the others need to be there. No wonder this is first time he has shown up in this blog.
ReplyDeleteActually, he was born in Ryan, Oklahoma.
DeleteMr. T: "I pity the fool who confuses Oklahomans and Texans!"
ReplyDeleteI pity the fool who doesn’t’ try Mrs.T’s pierogies. LOL!
DeleteI was more referring to "Walker, Texas Ranger" with "Justice, Texas style". Had friends leave Texas due to "Rangers".
DeleteMaybe they got mistaken for pro-Biden leftists.
Delete@Anon650: then maybe they should've named the show "Unwoken Texas Ranger."

ReplyDeleteI know. Can you imagine the Banana Splits getting to meet the Groovy Ghoulies?
DeleteWonder Woman has never had her own animated series, but Kite Man, MODOK, and Moon Girl have.
DeleteWhat worries me here is that Rambo appears to be... yes, I'll say it... jumping the shark.
ReplyDeleteGood one!!! :-)
