Something tells me that if there were to be a crisis in the Marvel Multiverse, it would star with the Squadron Supreme's Earth. It would be interesting to see if they would have fared any better against the Anti-Monitor's forces than DC's Crime Syndicate did.
Who's a genius? Ross is!! Too bad they didn't get their own version of the Spectre!! That 'single story' may be repeated for years to come!!
ReplyDeleteYou mean, as an allusion to the Spectre vs. the Anti-Matter Man from JLA v. 1/#46?
DeleteMy favorite Anti-Monitor depiction, here, is still STF #1845. But, this comes close to rivaling it!
ReplyDeleteBtw: how about, someday, the Anti-Monitor vs. Thanos?
DeletePersonally I'd love to see the Watcher vs the Anti-Monitor: "You are an existential threat to the multiverse -- but the multiverse can fight back!"
DeleteCould the TVA help defeat the Anti-Monitor? Many new ideas come up for closing the bum down? Fishing in the Timestream
ReplyDeleteit’s a battle that they will lose !
ReplyDeletethe wizzer could not do what the Flash did ,
and the size of their egos would prevent them from properly working together.
Ross, your suspicion is almost correct. It started with the Ultraverse, but the Squadron (and Hyperion in particular) were central to the defeat of the Anti-Monitor—or, rather, of Dr. Doom empowered by the Negative Zone.
