With James Gunn's DCU featuring a universe where superheroes have existed for a long time, I really hope that we get a proper Justice Society with Jay Garrick, Ted Grant, Alan Scott and the rest. I'd be happy to see them as older mentors or in their prime in a period piece... or why not both?

Abra is going after Barry Allen's Golden Age namesake predecessor? Interesting! As the real Abra has consistently been a Barry Allen foe, I have to wonder if this might be a real wizard in disguise? Like, say...Tannarak! On-again/off-again lover/accomplice of Tala of the Dark Circle.

ReplyDeleteI second Tannarak and Tala being involved! Mostly because I've been on a Phantom Stranger kick, and I think it's cool to see them mentioned! On that note, I've got two ideas: Phantom Stranger and Man-Thing (I swear, those two feel like they're oddly similar. Wish Steve Gerber had gotten to write the stranger). And also: Doctor Thirteen and Scooby-doo! You can't tell me the ghost-breaker and mystery inc wouldn't work well together.

Re-Animage), Abra & Kang vs Kid Flash & Thundra, Abra (he turned Flash 2 into a puppet once) & Marvel's Puppet Master vs Disney's Pinocchio & Brother Power.
