Power Pack and Green Arrow

Oliver Queen has mentored sidekicks before, but never anyone as young as the members of this group.  That might make for some interesting interaction between the gruff archer and the wide-eyed youthful heroes.

  1. I love the title! It reminds me of the first Halloween episode Roseann Barr did for her original sitcom.

  2. That looks suspiciously like a Boom Tube in the background. Is Darkseid messing with Kymellia?

  4. Since Scoobie and the gang aren't there, i'm guessing the kids will be in for some major surprises! Ollie may treat them differently than Bruce might. Funny, none of them can supply light for this travel. Don't look back??
This brings up a question... suppose Brave & Bold had Ollie instead of Bruce.
Wonder how that would go over?

  6. The Power Pack has now appeared on 10 covers with only one being a non-DC team -up (the Power Rangers). Some other non-DC team ups could include The Elementals (also a foursome), Jem & The Holograms (also a foursome), Space Ghost (could be a foursome with the kids & Blip), Teen Force, Bionic Six, PowerPuff Girls, Thundercats, The Super-Harlem Globetrotters & Mr. T (with The T-Kids).

Some other DC team-ups = The Challengers Of The Unknown (the original 4), the 60s Doom Patrol (or the 70s version). Seeing Karate Kid, Princess Projectra, Ferro Lad & Nemesis Kid on an old 60s LOSH cover would be another great foursome for the kids to interact with. Also Uncle Marvel & the big 3 Marvel Family members would be an interesting age dynamic for a future cover.

  7. Beautiful cover Ross!! Back in ancient times, when I first heard Disney would be buying Marvel Comics IP's, I really thought a Power Pack movie would be one of their first projects! Boy was I wrong about that.

    1. Take comfort in the immortal words of ex-NY Yankee manager Yogi Berra who said: "I may not always be right. But, I'm never wrong!"

  8. Marvel/Disney's not making a G-rated live action POWER PACK movie, in the style and tradition of past 70s Disney films like Escape From Witch Mountain, was a huge missed opportunity for them. Kids with super powers, aliens, modern sfx & CGI...sounds like a family friendly blockbuster to me.
