Iron Man and Wildcat
These guys are miles apart as far as their backgrounds and power levels go, but I think that they might get along. Even if they didn't, it would be cool to see their clash of styles when tossed into a story together.
There's also Eddie March. Another former prizefighter who was nicknamed "Iron Man" for his seemingly inexhaustible stamina in the ring. And who was briefly trained to be Tony's successor as the Golden Avenger!
And both were accidentally mutated (on separate occasions) into a Hulk-like figure called "The Freak" because of a somewhat faulty piece of medical technology known as the Enervation Intensifier Ray. So, I'm wondering if that might be the case for these two teaming up against the police, here. Could Pepper Hogan have become...a She-Freak?
How about the Hispanic female Wildcat teaming up with War Machine as a different spin on this power set/duo? A couple of 80s Helix members could give them some problems.
I can see them getting together via Ted Grant's having once coached Happy Hogan during the latter's short-lived boxing career.

DeleteDet Tobor here. Google doesn't send code as it is supposed to.
ReplyDeleteThis has some real potential. 1960s style all the way.
Great to see Wildcat here, always.... and this has possibilities! I like it!
ReplyDeleteThey would get along very well during Tony Stark's drinking period. I'd love to see his reaction when WIldcat is killed and gets better!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking that in homage to BettleJuice 2 maybe you could do a team up of Wednesday Addams and Lydia from BettleJuice.
ReplyDeleteI'm shocked no one has mentioned your use of his cool Cat-Cycle (which I'm sure could use some Stark upgrades).
ReplyDeleteMadame Masque & the Huntress would make for an interesting (& rare) villainess duo in the future for them to take on.

ReplyDeleteFor the sublime, Wildcat with Courageous Cat.
ReplyDeleteOr the ridiculous: Deadpool meets the Inferior Five!
