These guys are miles apart as far as their backgrounds and power levels go, but I think that they might get along. Even if they didn't, it would be cool to see their clash of styles when tossed into a story together.

I can see them getting together via Ted Grant's having once coached Happy Hogan during the latter's short-lived boxing career.
ReplyDeleteThere's also Eddie March. Another former prizefighter who was nicknamed "Iron Man" for his seemingly inexhaustible stamina in the ring. And who was briefly trained to be Tony's successor as the Golden Avenger!
ReplyDeleteAnd both were accidentally mutated (on separate occasions) into a Hulk-like figure called "The Freak" because of a somewhat faulty piece of medical technology known as the Enervation Intensifier Ray. So, I'm wondering if that might be the case for these two teaming up against the police, here. Could Pepper Hogan have become...a She-Freak?

How about the Hispanic female Wildcat teaming up with War Machine as a different spin on this power set/duo? A couple of 80s Helix members could give them some problems.
