We kept getting teased with Mr. Mind in the Shazam! movies, but he never got more than quick cameos. He's just the kind of odd character that James Gunn seems to like, though - so I am holding out hope that he will eventually get his due in the new cinematic DCU.
And I can just imagine what writers working for James Gunn would put in the screenplay dialogue for this scene:
ReplyDeleteThe Wasp: "Hey! What's cooking, here?"
Ant-Man: "What do you think? He's planning to have me for dinner?"
TBG: "So, would you 'Mind' not interrupting me, any further?"
LOL! Maybe _you_ should be writing for Mr. Gunn!
DeleteI doubt Ant-Man was Mr M's first choice of superhero ingredient for this dish. While "Pym Stew" will do, I bet the hero Mind had in mind (sorry!) was an Archie comics stalwart - and the caption.... "Waiter, there's a FLY in my soup!"
ReplyDeleteDavejonz, nice idea....Ant-Man and the Fly! Maybe Fly-Girl & the Wasp! Potentials! Ross, THAT was a busy cover!
ReplyDeleteanother Gem, the inhideous mr. Mind has to eat and i doubt mulberry leaves will fit the bill, wonder will Wasp win winging to the rescue…
ReplyDelete@Simon: Let's hope he doesn't develop a craving for Strawberry Short Cake.
