If there's a group that could successfully negotiate with the World-Devourer, it's got to be Kirk and company, right? It would be entertaining to see them give it a try, anyway. Let's hope that Spock has something worthy of trade!
Galactus encountered the Next Generation of Star Trek in STF #4112...
Interesting premise. I like it.
ReplyDeleteWhat if Galactus meets Richie Rich’s “The planet Collectors” ( planet sized aliens that once threatened Earth)
ReplyDeleteThere are probably hundreds of planets with life which Galactus needs as nutrition without intelligent life to consume for Federation to offer him. What do they need him to do other than not consume a planet he wants to eat?
ReplyDeleteMaybe they can bribe him with the Cosmic Cube (from STF #1659, Oct. 2016). I mean, it can alter reality, right? So, why couldn't Galactus use it as an appetite suppressant?
ReplyDeleteSpock's line here is straight in line with his dry sense of humor. Well done!
ReplyDeleteAs to the negotiations, while Spock is no slouch, I'd think that Picard would have a stronger hand. He has a knack for defeating his foe by giving them what they want.
If G won't cooperate, Kirk can give him the old double-fist knockout.
ReplyDeleteAnd, if that fails, maybe the giant Spock clone from STAR TREK The Animated Spin-off could give him the Famous Vulcan Neck Pinch. :-)
DeleteOh, the imagination of Spock and/or Kirk can be very effective! Just as much as Picard's. Helps to make them of value.
ReplyDeleteThe Genesis Device. It could keep Galactus happy and well-fed for eons. And if it fell into the hands of the Klingons, the crew may need help getting it away from them.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately the Genesis device uses protomater and planets created by such device would give him tummy ache.
DeleteBravo, Bob. Wonder how he would do with the Orgainians?
ReplyDeleteSpock would sick a time traveling elderly Kes on old G. (maybe with the female caretaker in tow. He wouldn't know what hit him.
