This was pairing comes as the result of a suggestion by comics' historian and Patron of this Blog, Marc Tyler Nobleman. It was an offbeat combo for sure, but it immediately suggested a story idea to me so I had to give it a shot. Thanks, Marc!

ReplyDeleteI suspect that, in the original cover, Hal was coming in for an attack, but here he looks like he's taking an alarmed leap backward. And the legend on the front of the Kid's shirt* is classic.

Along an entirely different line, I'm not suddenly having visions of Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan) going all fangirl over Wonder Woman, Superman, or (DC's) Captain Marvel.
*I think it's a shirt. I'm not familiar enough with the character.
