Who needs to spin the Earth around when you have a time traveling DeLorean at your disposal? I think crossing over these movie franchises has a lot of potential. I'd love to see Doc Brown's reaction to witnessing Superman using his extraordinary powers.
You will believe a DeLorean can fly
ReplyDeleteI couldn't move fast enough to see or read this! IT IS EPIC!!! And if both were fairly new to their situations, Fantastic! And if no Lex, Zod, or green K, all the better!
ReplyDeleteRoss, the movie industry owes you an Oscar!!
One of the greatest Legion villains on the big screen? SPROCK YEAH!
ReplyDeleteGreat Scott!
ReplyDeleteDoc Brown: "Great Scott!"
ReplyDeleteSuperman: "You say that too?"
In all seriousness, tho; Ross, this one is PURE GENIUS! And seeing The Time Trapper on the big screen? Yes, please! (I wonder if Clark's connection to the Legion of Super-Heroes would factor into the plot of this film)
Very nice work.
I especially like the callback to Superman's first appearance. Heavy.
ReplyDelete@Anon@6:35: Where we're going, we don't need roads.
ReplyDelete@Ross: This movie has enough Chrises to make an Avengers crossover movie (Hemsworth, Evans, Pratt). All we need now is an excuse to include Steve Trevor or James Kirk (Pine).
PS: Christopher Lloyd is scheduled for Emerald City Comic Con this year. A pity we (probably) won't get to see you do "Roger Rabbit goes Back to the Future" before then.
Bob Greenwade beat me to the punch. But, I'll add my version, anyway.
ReplyDeleteThis (undeniably brilliant) team-up could only have been surpassed with an alternate title: "Crisis of the 3 Chris's!".
Access comes to the silver screen. Christophers Reeve,Evans,Hemsworth can team here for Time Trapper and Kang. Include MIB 3 and we are set. How do you do it Ross?
ReplyDeletemust have been during that dreadful period when Mr.C. Lee could not get a decent part…
ReplyDeletehe did take parts in quite a few dire films…
Cover of the month!
ReplyDelete@Cary: How about "Chrises of Infinite Earths"?
ReplyDeleteYES!!! :-D
ReplyDelete"I'm not worthy. I'm not worthy. I'm not worthy. I'm not worthy."
P.S.---It's a "Wayne's World" thing.
ReplyDeleteIt would be an interesting (if sad) turn if it turned out Doc Brown is the only reason Superman made it to Earth in the first place... and like the saving of Edith Keeler from the classic Star Trek episode "City on the Edge of Forever" it was something else that Doc and Marty have to reverse for whatever reason to save the Earth from calamity (hence why we don't have Superman in real life).
