Merry Christmas!
I hope all who visit here are spending today with those you love! It has been another year of great suggestions, kind words and encouragement, all of which I have truly appreciated. A special thanks goes out to the Patrons, your support has helped keep this blog alive and now marching towards it's 14th year - that means the world to me. Have a wonderful and blessed day today, everyone!
thank you for another year of great entertainment,
ReplyDeletewe can all relate to how the Spectre would deal with an Accountant, the Giant Pen… perhaps.
but would the previous three spirts have done the trick or is it a huge financial con…
Just a quick comment to let you know how much I enjoy your work. This page is on my check first thing in the morning list of websites.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the joy it brings me.
What an inspired pairing. Christmas genius. Yet again another cover that effortlessly passes the good cover test - does it make you part with your money and read the actual story. This one does big time.
ReplyDeleteI'm already wondering just what is going on with Tiny Tim. Maybe Galactus has set his sights on him as his new herald. Maybe he is trying out for the Tim Titans? ...
Thanks, Simon, Anon and Dave!
ReplyDeleteInteresting team up! I always check your site in the morning, teams I would not think of and you manage to put together the images just right! Spectre was a bit too intense when I was growing up, but I like the suggestion of Galactus being involved! To me his appearances always captured my interest, since Marvel teamed him with Aunt May! And you continue that trend of team ups!
ReplyDeleteThanks again Ross for all the fun!
Merry Christmas!
I think it more likely that someone is trying to prevent Tiny Tim from becoming a Blue Lantern! After all, he did seem to possess indefatigable hope in the goodness of mankind in general. And, of course, successfully rekindled it in Ebenezer Scrooge, in particular. In any event, this is the greatest cover you've gifted us with, this year.
ReplyDeleteSo Merry Christmas, Ross, to yourself and your loved ones. :-)
Great cover. Merry Christmas!!
ReplyDeleteI, too, make this page my first stop. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteSo apparently this is the reformed Mr. Scrooge.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
Paul, Cary, Jonathan, Emsley, Kid C, Thanks and Merry Christmas to you!
ReplyDeleteNice cover! It would be quite logical, following Eb's reformation.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to all!
Love this inspired cover! Thanks for producing such creative and entertaining covers!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, and thanks for bringing us all happiness daily!
ReplyDelete@Carycomic: I'm betting it's the Anti-Claus from Marvel's BIZARRE ADVENTURES #34 (Dec. 1983).
ReplyDelete@Ross: I can add nothing further to what my fellow commentators have said except...Merry Christmas!
Bob, Ben and the Anons, much appreciated! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDelete@Ross, A Christmas Spirit in your own right...you cover the World in One Day!
ReplyDeleteMoney may start to help Tim, but what might be needed more could be to deal with some Joker that is stirring up the plot! Possibly in relation to Tim's family and friends...or even a descendant.
Merry Christmas Ross
ReplyDeleteor, Ross, perhaps Ebenezer Scrooge meets Scrooge McDuck
ReplyDeleteor Scrooge McD fills for his name and meets four other Christmas spirits.....
i was thinking ghost wise Marley is Slimer, past is Gentlemen Ghost Jim Craddick, present is the female Ghost, and future is Spooky, the tough little ghost....
Merry Christmas and thanks for being our daily Santa Claus.....
That would make a heck of a snow globe. Scrooge sitting as Spectre materializes around him. Does Spectre stay as one entity or split himself for different friends request?
ReplyDeleteSnow, Snow snOW SNOW. It won't be long before Spectre brings a snowman to life.
Mr Ross get a great new year you have earned it.
Thank you Stephen, Jack-El, H.H.H.!
ReplyDeleteA take on A Christmas Carol that remembers Ebenezer reforms at the end and is a good guy "now"? It's a miracle! Bless your heart and Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteCover of the month.
