The Hulk and Catwoman

If there was one villain from the classic live action Batman series that could have had their own spin-off show, It would have to be Catwoman.  Team her up with a loner on the run who has rage issues, and you might just have a recipe for a fun romp.

  1. These photo cover/movie matchups are always a treat :D
How about a Nick Fury vs Mr Glass movie cover?

  2. This is truly inspired, Ross. And you know what would be the perfect McGuffin for bringing them together? Catwoman's plan to steal...the Golden Bull of China!

How many times did that gaudy piece of sculpture entice ambitious criminals within the pages of Marvel Comics? At least twice that I know of. Of course, Catwoman usually tackles something with a feline motif. But, what if she had been hired to steal it by someone living in Spain? Say, for example, Don Esteban De Ablo...of Catalan!

  3. Now that you mention it, Martin Balsam would have made a great 'Slam' Bradley in the twilight of his years. And considering the plethora of detective shows in the 1970s, he'd have easily had a home on one of the Big Three.

    Damn, what a missed opportunity...

  4. Cary's point about Catwoman preferring to steal things with "a feline motif" is quite true. For example, she might be interested in a certain diamond known as the Pink Panther!

  5. Hey! That's right. That would provide the perfect excuse for a sequel to STF #2141 ("copyright" Feb. 2018). Mr. Greenwade? You're a genius!

  6. @Ross: but, if possible, could you make it the Julie Newmar Catwoman vs. Princess Shuri of Wakanda? That way you could call it something like..."Intercontinental Catfight!"

  7. I was just thinking of a drawn Catwoman (say, the animated-series one) vs. Inspector Clouseau.

  8. Selina goes to a target that Banner is working at. Does she see and recognize him? She's making new plans...which has more value..her target or Banner??
Surprisingly, her title still lasts. Not easy to do these days. Your potential stories!!

  9. @Bob Greenwade: That would require the proportionate use of the DePatie-Freleng Clousseau (aka "The Inspector") originally voiced by Pat Harrington on the original "Pink Panther" Saturday morning cartoon show.

  11. Dawn Wells as Betty is an awesome choice. It makes me think of my favorite dream casting of Ressell Johnson as Reed Richards.

  12. Who knows, Matt? Maybe if the FF were trying to get Dreadface face off of Gilligan's Island...

  13. Which reminds me; is Ted Grant any relation to Ginger Grant?
