The Avengers Vs. Chronos

Sure, there's Kang, The Lord of Time and others - but my favorite time traveling villain has always been Chronos.  I think it's because he was a foe of The Atom, who I also really like and that way cool creepy clock face mask he would wear.   The black and white striped leggings on the other hand... OK maybe he didn't have a perfect costume, but it worked for my young eyes!

  1. Don't forget Lady Chronos that was just on the Flash. He wasn't cheezy, he did put effort in what he did. Don't know if he could handle a crowd though.

    1. Lady Chronos also originated in the comics, during Ryan Choi’s time as the Atom.

  2. David Clinton didn't start out as a time traveler, though. Just a costumed bank robber obsessed with time! As in schedules, punctuality, etc. much like the Clock King.* He didn't become a time traveler till the animated JLU episodes that depicted him as such!

*A Green Arrow foe who predated Chronos by two years.

  3. Oo! Wicked layout Ross! The theme of being trapped in an hourglass always makes for a great cover. On the subject of funky costumes, maybe someday we'll see an assembly of the most way-out get-ups of all time. They would be known as... The Fashion Victims.

  5. Didn't Tyroc and Wonder Man already do that @ STF #2335, four years and one month ago?

  7. @Cary: They were a start, but they need to add Sabine Wren, the Sixth Doctor, Captain Ultra, and the original Green Lantern.

  9. @Bob Greenwade: would that also include Steve Rogers in his original Nomad look (especially the cape)?

@Ross: any chance of someday seeing Darth Vader vs. Blue Devil?

  10. Tentative premise? SHIELD is testing a potential new esper by having him or her psychometrize an Infinity Gate (recovered from the Andes) at Dan Cassidy's old alma mater...Duke University.

  16. Mars Attacks! - Santa Claus works for me. Shades of MST3K.
