Now this is a TV movie that would have had me staying up late and sneaking into my older brother's room to watch. Two superheroes teaming up, with one portrayed by the gorgeous Yvonne Craig? Count me in.
Spider-Man and Batgirl met in a more traditional comic back in STF #938...
They should have given him a cameo in the last Spiderman film
ReplyDeleteThere’s another Barbara on the big screen now who could have a future team-up with Barbara Gordon.
ReplyDeleteBack in 2010, you had Batman meet Invincible, without any comment on the connection to Batman’s most famous ally. Will be ever find out what the Earth-STF relationship is between Dick (Robin/Nightwing) Grayson and Mark (Invincible) Grayson?
ReplyDeleteI love it! It's like Kirsten and Tobey's first kiss as MJ and Spidey. Only it's a bright sunny day...and obviously more sexual tension. At least, tense enough to make Batgirl assume the classic "I dare you!" stance. Making Spider-Hammond hesitate, accordingly.
ReplyDeleteNow this would be worth watching!
ReplyDeleteThis might be my new favorite cover
ReplyDeleteWhat my namesake @8PM said.
ReplyDeleteIf she had to, Would Batgirl be able to pull Spidy down from the building side? Hate to think she'd try to bring him 'down to earth' only to find herself walking on air.
ReplyDelete(Unless she's in her purple period.)
Another great pairing Ross! Maybe Robert Altman could direct. Would Gwen or MJ ever meet up with Robin?
ReplyDeleteQwenpool with Nightwing.
ReplyDeleteI can totally see Joe Don Baker as the Rhino.
ReplyDeleteMe, too.
