Gandalf and Boba Fett

May the Fourth be With You!  These guys could have gotten a lot done if they swapped franchises.  That jet pack would have come in handy on the trip to Mount Doom.  And Gandalf's Staff against a Light Saber is a battle that would be epic to see!

  1. I was going to take the fifth on the 2 you have for May the Forth be With You but then i decided May the Forth BeWitch You.
Flash was on Wed., and he and his parents had pizza at Zataras.

  2. It would be even more epic if Sauron met Darth Tyranus (nee Count Dooku)! If only to see whether or not they'd immediately battle each other as rivals.

Thanks, Ross! And may the 4th be with you, too. :-)

  4. This is a crossover I would die to have come true.

  5. Naturally, on Star Wars Day, I have plans to see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. (Hey, I don't make the movie release schedules.)

@Cary: More likely it would be Sauron vs Darth Sidious -- which, now that I think of it, would be a battle worthy of STF. And the only reason I wouldn't have said what you predicted is that it wouldn't have occurred to me; it's my kind of comment. #GoodPunHaveACookie

  8. Dear Ross: Is this Gandalf from the Rankin/Bass adaptations of Tolkien...or the Ralph Bakshi version?

  9. Careful guys, you don't want a copyright strike from Disney. ;)

  11. They tried to lay claim to May 4th a year or two back. It's a joke.

  12. I guess they thought the Farce was with them.

  13. For "May the Farce be with you," I think you'd need something like Jar Jar Binks with the Tick.

  14. Or Darth Jarjar vs. Jedi Master Gonzo the Great (from "THE MUPPET SHOW")

  15. I'm still holding out for Dr. Zachary Sith. Danger danger!

  16. @Ken: wouldn't that technically make him a Smith-lord? ;-)

  17. @ Anon 4:41 Gonzo with a lightsaber? Now that would be a comedy act! @Cary - Oh the pain, the pain...
