Justice Society of America Vs. M.O.D.O.K.

M.O.D.O.K. is a villain that I have been wanting to see  on the big screen since the debut of the MCU, so I was glad to hear he would be in Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania.  The quick glimpses I got of him during the trailers did not fill me with confidence, however.  Lackluster reviews kept me away from the theaters, but I'll catch the movie when it hits Disney+.  I'm going in with lowered expectations, so maybe I will be pleasantly surprised by his appearance.

  1. Expect one of those lowered expectations to include no members of the Tarleton family. That's all I'm saying.

  2. "Head Games," huh? Does that mean MODOK is putting the JSA under mind-control for the benefit of some "Foreigner?" And will that particular form of mind-control result in any side-effects...such as "Double Vision"?

  3. @Carycomic: Lol! Bob Greenwade's probably gonna hate you for thinking of that first. ;-)

  4. you will get annoyed with Modok nearly always smiling !
just love the Wally Wood artwork style, so for me this mashup works well.

  5. Ross, if you feel the energy, a new kind of Injustice League could include specialists like MODOK and Solomon Grundy "leading". It would be very different. Thanks.

  6. I saw Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania on opening weekend. I quite enjoyed it, though how M.O.D.O.K. was handled was somewhat a disappointment, especially the visuals. The only other real disappointment (for me, anyway) was the mid-credits scene, but the post-credits scene was definitely worth waiting for.

@Anon@8:17: Being more of a soul man, I never would've come up with it at all. (I'm even just assuming that the Foreigner being referenced is the rock band.)

  8. Cool cover! A story I’d love to read.
How about Niles Caulder, Metron, and Professor X versus MODOK?

  9. @Anon@1:00: I'd be happy to just see Professor X teamed with Oracle.

  10. Maybe the two of them could double-team Dr. Double X.

  11. Heavens knows, the not-so-good doctor is certainly overdue for an appearance, here! :-)

  12. P.S.---considering the (admittedly controversial) new spin on Golden Age GL Alan Scott, how about a team-up between that version and the original Shadowhawk?

  13. @Anon233: I'd rather see Shadowhawk team up with Moon Knight.

  14. How about a Collins family reunion? Namely, Barnabas (Dynamite); Eddie (aka Shadowhawk/Image); and Michael (aka Deathlok 2/Marvel).

  15. One might even call it "Marvelous Entertainment." ;-)

  16. How about someday MODOK vs. Hector Hammond?
