One real shame about Natasha Romanov being killed off in the MCU is that it creates a big missed opportunity. Now that Daredevil is in the MCU proper, I would have loved to see him share some adventures (and possibly romance) with The Black Widow. I guess there are a couple of opportunities to do this. The upcoming 18 episode Daredevil series on Disney+ will have plenty of room for flashbacks, so maybe she could be included there. Failing that, they could bump into each other in one of the upcoming time and reality warping Avengers movies. I think all of these scenarios are probably long shots, however.
A great cover. Red Star looks like he should be there. DC fans have a lot to hope for...at least as long as there are no more new virus versions.
ReplyDeleteUh-oh! It looks like the Nosferati have become a Russian Maggia family!! Seriously, though; it's great to see Leonid back in any comic book format. The first and last time I remember seeing him was in the issue of New Teen Titans (Perez-era) where he decided Koriander had won the better right to be called "Starfire" than he did.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I call _true_ comradeship.
Speaking of Nosferati; I wonder if Vault Comics (the new licensee for White Wolf Games' characters) will ever do a crossover with Vampirella and/or Buffy?*
ReplyDelete*Hint-hint, Ross. ;-)
Another possibility would be to give the story arc to Yelena.
ReplyDeleteAs for this cover, nice choice of team-up. These two may need a little help from Blade or Buffy, or even the Winchester brothers.
I'd rather see Yelena teaming up with Spidey in the next BW movie; if only as a means of bringing Daredevil back to feature films in the MCU!
ReplyDeleteHow about the last version of Nikita that lasted about 4 seasons for even more assistance Bob Greenwade?
ReplyDeleteThe version that lasted five seasons might be better. ;-)
ReplyDelete@Carycomic: Yes, Peta was the sweeter Nikita.
