Genndy Tartakovsky wrote and illustrated a Cage mini-series that came out in 2016, and I would love to see an animated adaptation of it. Tartakovsky's work on Samurai Jack, Clone Wars and especially Primal have made me into a giant fan of his, and I look forward to any new project that he announces.
At lastl!! Someone to show Kang what happens when he keeps messing with time!
ReplyDelete"Primal"? Wasn't that the series about some welfare recipient who dreamed he was like a cross between Wolverine and Tarzan, with his social worker as Jane?
ReplyDeleteNo, that was MAXX.
ReplyDeleteThough, I must confess, a Maxx/Primal crossover wouldn't be a bad thing to see here!
Big Tartakovsky fan. Love to see a Primal crossover here.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's just Stupendous Man's presence here, but I get the feeling that the adaptation would be best if narrated by Iman Vellani.
ReplyDeleteToday's cover is just the thing, though. This is just the sort of thing that would happen in Calvin's imagination if he decided to team Stupendous Man with these two.
PS: It's been a while since we've seen Dial H for Hero. What if it became Dial H for Heroes for Hire?
@Bob Greenwade: sounds like a "Cage" match made in Heaven. ;-)
ReplyDelete@Matthew: Who knows? PRIMAL's male protagonist might even get to join The Club!
