This is another cover in which the final product makes it look like a relatively simple one. Just plop The Punisher in behind Nightwing, right? There was a bit more prep work before I could get to that stage though. Here's a peek behind the process:

ReplyDelete@Ross: I don't often say this. But, Tobor is 100% right. You do make these cover simulations look deceptively easy. When, in fact, you probably have to spend a number of hours bent over your keyboard, cutting and pasting and what not. My humble thanks for all your diligence.
This does look like it'd be an interesting pairing, for just the reason Dick indicates: conflict over the use of lethal force. Now, if Frank was paired with, say Azrael, we could expect a bloodbath.
ReplyDeleteWhat Detective Tobor said. It's what we don't see that makes a scene look amazing, and at the same time believable. Learning your process would make for a great Photoshop class.

ReplyDeleteP.S.---I finally got to see BP: Wakanda Forever. Not bad! I deducted one star for the semi-needless tweaking of Namor's origin, though. I say "semi-needless" because it might have been done out of
the (technically hypothetical) need to differentiate the Talokan mermani from Aquaman's Atlanteans in the DCEU films.
The only other thing I'll risk saying about it is that it slightly opens the door to an introduction of the Antarctic Savage Land. At least with regard to alternate forms of vibranium!

ReplyDeleteAs requests go, mine is a bit outside the norm. The Punisher and The Phantom. Tho both kill and are experts with weapons, the skulls both use have differences. Would each have a problem with the other or simply accept him as the circumstance might call for?
How about the Squadron Supreme vs. the Legion of Super-Villains? Or the Squadron Sinister vs. the Inferior Five? Or, at the very least, Hyperion vs. Lobo?
