For the third chapter of our 7-part epic, we see that Tigra has not taken to kindly to the way she was treated by Cat-Man after giving him a chance to reform. Not even Gotham's original guardian will stop her from bringing him back to justice! I can't imagine Cat-Man will take this too well - make sure you check in tomorrow for chapter 4 to see what his reaction is!
Yay! I'm first, again. There must've been a blue moon, last night.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, though; I'm not surprised that Tigra is p.o.'d at him. Like I said, yesterday, she'll probably make him regret his desertion for the rest of his nine lives! I have to wonder, though, if his retaliation will involve a certain amnesia stewardess named...Selina Kyle?
Ooops! That should've been "...amnesiac stewardess." The "c" must've been stolen by, and for substitution with the first two letters of, THAT WOMAN!
ReplyDelete@Cary: Actually I almost was first, but I couldn't think of anything to say other than how much I'm looking forward to seeing how the rest of this tale plays out.
ReplyDelete@Ross: I also woke up with a couple of ideas in my head. The more mundane of the two, Black Adam vs. Doctor Doom in a Khandaq/Latveria war, was already done back in #3103, though letting those hostilities continue might make for an interesting ongoing tale. The other is too far out in left field to be likely even if either names involved had appeared here before: The Care Bears vs. the Creature from the Black Lagoon!
Oh, I think Catman has a plan to win Tigra over again. They'll soon be cozying up together, maybe after she sees what's in that satchel he's carrying. It's all part of the dynamics of a new super-relationship. There has to more than just mere cash at stake to bring the original Green Lantern into the fray.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is really shaping up! If I were in the comics business I'd be trying to figure out a way to make it happen for real.
ReplyDeleteBob, I'd rather see Shirt Tales meet Swamp Thing.
ReplyDelete@Bob & my namesake: I'd rather see Thorangutan (of Marvel Ape Earth) vs. the Werewolf Supergirl of pre-Crisis Earth 387.
ReplyDelete@Ken Roskos: I'll bet Cat-Man stole a certain "jade" necklace that was inherited by the Sons of the Tiger. Only it's not really jade. It's made from the same Chinese meteorite that Alan Scott's green lantern was made from!
ReplyDeleteBy George Carycomic, you may be on to something!
ReplyDelete@Los Thunderlads, very impressive writing on your blog.
