Continued from yesterday's cover, we see the inevitable clash between our two heroes. Let's hope that Aunt May can get them to stop fighting. Long time visitors of this blog may remember that May and Woozy have a bit of history together, as suggested in Spidey and Plas' first meeting in STF #1856.
Hopefully, Woozy can transfer some of his guardian's power to Aunt May. Because, personally, I think only Mother Nature, herself, could end this mistaken identity slugfest!
ReplyDeleteI can just hear the Filmation jingle, now.
"It's Super-May! Super-Super-Super-Maaay. SUPER-MAY!"
😆😆
Deleteso much for the spidy sense. Worthy of a painted cover.
ReplyDeleteTime for Aunt May to transform again into Golden Oldie!!
ReplyDeleteOnly two commentators yesterday...and only three today?!
ReplyDeleteAll the rest of your readers must be doing their Xmas shopping early.
Above anon, MAYbe they were feeling WOOZY.
ReplyDeleteNot related, but have you considered Wonder Woman calling on Marvel”s Eternals in Sersi vs. Circe?
ReplyDelete@above Anon: I think that would be a wand-aful confrontation!
ReplyDeleteOne of the wonderful things about these covers is the growing multiverses continuity of the Rossiverse—the rich background of the WW/Cap romance, the Danvers Twins, and little things like the relationship of Woozie and May. It really pays to have been her for the decade plus of multiverse building.
ReplyDelete@Jim: so, then, what we have to ask Ross is...will Woozy become Peter's step-uncle?
ReplyDeleteHe just MAY!
Woozy, Alfred and Uncle Dudley? Aunt May's on the prowl!
ReplyDelete@MHS: Look out, Hobie Brown. There's a NEW Prowler in town!
