Doctor Strange and Detective Chimp

Mephisto has been teased in the MCU (which has led to rampant speculation) but not actually used yet, and I wonder where or if he will actually show up.  While he is a key villain from the comics with ties to many heroes, he still poses some problems when it comes to adapting him for the movies.  China does not like any depictions of Satan, so that may be giving Disney pause.  Will he appear in altered form, or will he be included with all of his devlish trappings, knowing his presence will keep the film out of a major market?  Only time will tell.

  1. An intriguing pairing. This partnership could run and run.

Where's Ibis the Invincible when you really need him?

  3. This is indeed an interesting pair-up, and one I hope to see again some time in the future.

I feel like I should recognize M's ally, though, but I'm not placing him.

  4. Neron's kind of DC's Mephisto - first big storyline was the Underworld Unleashed mini series where he leveled up DC's vilains.

  5. Marvel makes M. an alien and avoids the religious concerns.
I heard the Detective joined the Doctor to help find Where's Waldo.

  6. Tobor's right. The Big M could be ret-conned as a alien Deviant responsible for the near-genocide of Beta Ray Bill's people. Seeing as how Hemsworth apparently terminated Surtur in the third Thor film.
