Captain America and The Seven Soldiers of Victory

I'm looking forward to the new season of Stargirl.  The trailer teased Jade, Jakeem Thunder & T-Bolt and the Shade, I'm looking forward to seeing where the story goes.  I hope that we will learn more about the exploits of the original Seven Soldiers of Victory, and that Sir Justin will suit up for some present day action.

  1. It looks like it's going to be a very... dark Season Two! The end of Season One also teased Eclipso! (O_O)

The JSA, Seven Soldiers of Victory... What I enjoyed is that it just looked and felt like Courtney was putting together an Infinity, Inc. rather than a Justice Society: The Next Generation...

  2. I forget, did the magical nature of Sir Justin's battle-gear (& steed) make him one of the heroes vulnerable to the Spear of Destiny's control?

A Red Skull/Wotan villainous team-up might be interesting to watch... from a safe distance...

  4. I only have a couple of questions, today, Ross.

    1) Is this a sequel or a prequel to STF #3360?

    2) As it's been two hundred issues, exactly, since you last used him, why not have Bloodshot do another team-up with Deadpool?*

*If only so you could entitle it "Bloodpool!"

  5. 1) I'd say chapters of the same story

    2) I confess to never having read a story with Bloodshot in it, so he's tougher for me to use. But he appeared once so he may again.

  6. Carycomic, and maybe it's the sequel to #300..."From Burbank to Berlin!"

  7. Really hoping to see the Shade done as sort of the character from James Robinson's Starman series. That character was amazing - you truly never knew what he was up to or what he was going to do next, and he lent a lot of history to the book. I think he'd be really interesting - particularly with his connection to the Knight family.

  8. I think there's some hope that we'll be seeing not only the Shining Knight* but also Winged Victory. Then you'll have material to create a photo-cover for the TV-movie from #3181! (Not that I'd expect you to actually do it, of course.)

I'll have two big questions for the coming seasons of Stargirl: will the original Crimson Avenger be wearing spandex or a suit when we see him? (The old photo shows him in a suit, which I'd prefer, but you never know.) And who will play Green Arrow when he eventually shows up? (I personally would favor Justin Hartley.)

*You forgot to tag this guy on this one, Ross! (Which I'm sure you'll correct as soon as you see this.)

  9. I generally don't tag when the image of the character is too small or obscured - which is why Speedy also got snubbed!

A live action cover with two winged Horses? I might have to switch to wide screen format for that one!

  10. hey Ross, yet another amazing cover mashup....
i don't no how you do them so flawlessly...but i am so happy that you do....
i of course have another idea i would like to submit....
Mr Glass from the movie trilogy and Machete from that movie trilogy vs
Nick Fury from the MCU movies and Breecher from the CW's Flash....
in other words a double helping of Samuel L Jackson and Danny Trejo....
a live action would be tremendous but could be a tad harder to pull off then a art cover....

  11. @Cary & Reg Aubry: split the difference, guys. Call all three appearances one of Ross' delayed-action trilogies.
