This seems like it would just be a natural pairing. I was happy to see Martinex make a cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, but it would nice to see the character be a bigger part of the MCU - especially since he is played by Michael Rosenbaum, still in my opinion the best live action Lex Luthor.

ReplyDeleteSpeaking of toys: wasn't Crystar part of some toy line that Marvel was likewise plugging with a comic series? INHUMANOIDS, I think? The comic might have had some initial success through temporary confusion with the Inhumans. Though not as successfully long-lasting as GI JOE, MICRONAUTS, and TRANSFORMERS, once the confusion was past.

Martinex was part of "the old gang," right? I'd love to see that group have a decent supporting role in GotG3 (or even 4). For that matter, it's too bad they didn't show up in Avengers: Endgame.
