Crystar and Martinex

This seems like it would just be a natural pairing.  I was happy to see Martinex make a cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, but it would nice to see the character be a bigger part of the MCU - especially since he is played by Michael Rosenbaum, still in my opinion the best live action Lex Luthor.

  4. @Beta Joe: I remember Sherman Hemsley as The Toyman from LOIS & CLARK:TOS.

Speaking of toys: wasn't Crystar part of some toy line that Marvel was likewise plugging with a comic series? INHUMANOIDS, I think? The comic might have had some initial success through temporary confusion with the Inhumans. Though not as successfully long-lasting as GI JOE, MICRONAUTS, and TRANSFORMERS, once the confusion was past.

  5. @Cary: Two different line-ups, dude. Crystar and his bunch were created by Marvel for Remco.

Inhumanoids were from Hasbro (like the Big 3).

  6. Martinex was part of "the old gang," right? I'd love to see that group have a decent supporting role in GotG3 (or even 4). For that matter, it's too bad they didn't show up in Avengers: Endgame.

  7. I'd rather they show up in STF #3300 with the LSH.

  8. Crystar made his return to the Marvel Universe during Doom's Secret Wars a few years ag9 and has popped up from time to time.

  9. Why do they have Crystar carrying He-Man's original Power Sword?

  10. @ShadowWing Tronix: Maybea cover could have Skeletor time-traveling to the Mighty Mightor's world to kill the hermit and his clan who gave Mightor the magical club, because that clan would make He-Man's magical sword.

  11. @ShadowWingTronix: looks more like the one from BLACKSTAR. A Flash Gordon/He-man hybrid that was one of the last cartoon series Filmation did for CBS' Saturday morning line-up in the late Seventies/early Eighties.
