Fraiser joins the ever growing list of series that are coming back for new seasons after a run that concluded several years ago. Some of these have been welcome and some should probably have not returned Xena is one show that I would love to see revisited, at least as a streaming movie. Lucy Lawless is still in good shape and it would be cool to see what has become of The Warrior Princess as well as Gabrielle and Joxur. It would be nice to see at least one episode with today's special effect capabilities, too.
A match made in heaven - or should that be Valhalla?

ReplyDelete@Anonymous: GROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAN!
ReplyDeleteI'd go with the Saturday Night Live Special: Xena and Lobo. Popcorn anyone?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, a simple revival of Xena: Warrior Princess would be unlikely, given that the series ended with her dying and deciding to stay dead. A reboot is also unlikely; per Wikipedia, talks for one with NBCU broke down in 2017, and plans were cancelled.
ReplyDeleteFor today's cover, as awesome as it is, with the similarities in costume I would've expected a Lawless/Gadot pairing. Better yet, how about Lawless, Gadot, and Thompson? That's a trio of "sword-mistresses" nobody would want to mess with!
@3H: The Main Man would probably say: "Lobo-licious!"
ReplyDeleteI've been forgetting to post this, although some of you probably know about it already: There's a site where you can read old comic books (some not so old) online, free.

How about Vampirella meets Yara Flor (the Future State Wonder Woman)?
ReplyDeleteOr Godzilla vs. the Black Dragon from "Reign of Fire?"
@Kid C: Thanks for the tip and the link!
ReplyDelete@Ross & Anon@10:03: I've been hoping to someday see the Inferior 5 vs. Fin Fang Foom.
@Ross, Bob, and Anon1003: split the difference. Make it Godzilla vs. Fin Fang Foom!
ReplyDelete"Battle of the (Toho-ho) Green Giants!"
@Cary: *GROOOOOOOOOOOOOOAN!*
ReplyDeleteKarma; Gotta love it. ;-)
