Sure, he's outmatched here when it comes to raw power, but since when has that ever stopped Han Solo? I liked that he still seemed to be in the smuggling business after all these years when he returned in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and I wish we had gotten to see a little more of that. Han's always at his best when he has his back against a wall but still finds a way to win (or at least escape)!
Never tell Han the odds!
ReplyDeletemaybe he waz related to Dennis the Menace.
ReplyDeleteI can see Han dropping Lobo in a Sarlac pit.
ReplyDeleteIn Marvel Comics, Lobo would probably be considered an Elder of the Universe. Due to being the last of his race.
ReplyDeleteWho knows? Maybe there will be a Han & Chewbacca show on Disney+ some day, showing some of their adventures between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. It'd almost certainly be animated rather than live-action, but either way I know I'd be interested.
ReplyDeleteGiven how many bounties that must be still active on him, I highly doubt Han would try collecting any himself. It would be more realistic if Lobo was after Han and being told that "Boba Fett couldn't bring me in. What makes you any better?"
ReplyDeleteOr maybe that is the case and Han is just trying to confuse The Main Man.
I have a bad feeling about this... but Wow! I want to read this. And for a sequel Boba Fett could fight Lobo for the carbonized form of Han Solo!
ReplyDeleteOrdinaryguy2
Now I want to see Solo fight Lobo over Mojo Jojo at a Yoko Ono concert on planet Mogo... with special guest Toto. Alas Gogo Tomago would be a no-show.
ReplyDeleteNow I'm hungry for a chocolate Ho-ho. ;-)
ReplyDeleteSomewhere on Big Mike's cover there would have to be a Judoon.
ReplyDeleteAnd hey -- if you had Lobo vs. Stephen King, you'd have the Main Man and the Maine Man!
I wonder how Lobo would do against Logunn (bounty-hunting cousin of Klyngunn) of the ZeHethbra?
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be surprised if Logunn turned out to be the best there is at what he does. ;-D
ReplyDeleteJay Johnson: Ah, the Main Man would wind up "Lobo-tomized" by Boba Fett!
ReplyDeleteI've never been a Main Man fan. But, Lobo would more likely turn that Mandalorian merc into "Boba-fetti!"
ReplyDeleteSudden inspiration: Din Djarin (The Mandalorian) is resourceful enough, and well enough equipped, to give Batman a run for his money should the two ever be at odds. Bats would certainly prevail before the two decided to work together, but the fight would be interesting to see. And just for fun, maybe Maxwell Lord is the actual villain in the tale (since Pedro Pascal plays both Maxwell and Mando).
ReplyDeleteIs Lobo/Ghost Rider a possibility?
