Juggernaut Vs. Solomon Grundy

Just as the title suggests, I think that this would be a pretty even battle. Since Solomon Grundy is repeatedly reborn, each time with incredible power, can he be considered a mutant?

Thanks to Thrawn7, a Patron of this blog, for suggesting this battle...

When did the Juggernaut become a mutant?

  2. Muck up the swamp too badly, a couple beloved bog monsters might slosh their way in...

  3. The Earth-STF Juggernaut is a mutant.

  4. "repeatedly reborn, each time with incredible power" Grundy now sounds like an early Doomsday. Dopmsday and Grundy merged into one? Unstoppable squared?

  5. At first, I thought this would be interesting but lacking real punch. Then I realized that Solomon Grundy's resurrection abilitites could become detrimental to Jugs' mental state. Now, that would be far more interesting than just a slugfest.

  6. Did... did Juggernaut just knee Solomon Grundy in the nuts?!?!? I hope those regenerate too! Then again... what would Grundy use them for?

I yield to none in my admiration of Gene Colan's art, but that right leg on Juggernaut really looks awkward. Or is it an amalgamated image?

Ah yes 'Muck and Mire' the lawn jockeys set Swamp Thing got at a yard sale. Wait till winter and you see them covered over by snow in this pose. Some day they'll be in the Space Museum for sure.

In this universe what would a Bizarro Grundy and Juggy be like?

  9. Don't know about Bizarro Juggy, but Bizarro Grundy would be a Latin teacher and Chess Club sponsor at Riverdale High and living with his sister, Miss Geraladine Grundy.

  11. Kevin's right. Isn't Cain Marko more of a magical mutate?

  12. @Ross, Kevin & Anon1210: split the difference, guys. Just say that, on Earth-STF, the Ruby of Cyttorak energized Marko's X-gene out of dormancy.

  13. Maybe Betty Cooper could meet King Koopa.

  16. You mean, like thinking Liev Schreiber made a scarier Sabertooth than Tyler Mane?

  17. Maybe Sabertooth could meet Salem SABERHAGEN (Sabrina...).
