Spider-Woman and The Huntress

Spider-Woman has undergone a few costume changes recently, probably to give her a more movie-friendly appearance once she makes the leap to the big screen.  Personally, I prefer her original look.  It has nods to Spider-man's outfit while still having its own unique feel and looks even better when topped of by her gorgeous mane of hair.  I'm not holding my breath waiting to see it show up in the movies, though.

These two previously met in STF #656...

  2. Wow! Thia works so well. Given their complicated personalities, this would be a great read in the hands if the right writer.

  3. I remember her debut in MARVEL SPOTLIGHT. A young woman with short reddish-brown hair. It was after defecting from Hydra that she grew it long and dyed it black!

  4. I remember that, too!

Man! Did she look hot in that purple leotard. Rowr-rowr!

  5. Doing a quick search for "Spider-Woman cosplay" images, I see that about half the choices are of this costume*, showing how well it can work; and I think that it'll probably be the choice when Jessica makes her big-screen debut in Spider-Women (a spinoff of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse). If she shows up in the live-action MCU, I think she'll probably start out in a copy of Peter's costume and then move on to something like this one. Sony's only been changing characters' looks for specific plot reasons, particularly during Tom Holland's run, and I think this will continue.

*I would've embedded a couple of the best ones, but I thought that might be a tad tacky and not really necessary. If you say it's OK, though, Ross, I'll go ahead and do two or three.

  6. I'd like to see Spider-Woman sailing behind the Flash. Those 2 costumes could make for an interesting appearance, like a missile being launched.
