With Spider-Man deemed a criminal in the MCU, it might be a good time to finally introduce The Black Cat in the movies. I can see her actually enjoying Perter Parker's new status quo and the dangers (and thrills) that it brings. I am sure it would be a highly coveted role, what actress wouldn't want to play Marvel's answer to Catwoman?
Since they share the Black Beauties, will the Canary help the Cat? Story with man appeal.
ReplyDeleteAh for the simple life with a few friends.
ReplyDeleteWant to consider a different kind of double date cover? Atom & Wasp and Ant-Man & Jean Loring. a small matter of history
My big question is: whenever Black Cat appears, will the director use a more practical costume such as the one shown here, or go for the more commonly-seen one that would give Power Girl a run for her money? And if the latter, will they find an actress who can -- ahem -- fill the role?
ReplyDeleteWell, off-hand, I can name four!
ReplyDeleteJulie Newmar; Natassai Kinski; Michelle Pfeiffer; Halley Berry...
Seriously, though; what doubtlessly exorbitant price would Felicia Hardy demand from the BOP's. It couldn't be monetary. Because Batgirl could get her a blank check from Bruce Wayne with almost no difficulty!
No, I think the "fee" is going to be some reciprocal service. The question is...will it be something detrimental to Peter Parker? Or Doc Ock?
Ross, I think I've got to call you out on this one. No way is this a mashup. Admit it. This is a real comic that Marvel and DC have been working on together. Give us the link so we can buy it. I want to read it...
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid that after the movie disaster with Harley this will be the only place to see the Birds for a long while.
ReplyDeleteWith Peter Parker being made a kid again I do not think Black Cat works well especially with all of sexual energy.
ReplyDeleteUnless, of course, Spider-Maguire swings on to the MCU Earth through a genuine interdimensional portal. Like, say, one of those making up the epidermis of The Spot?
ReplyDeleteMaybe now introducing that new character: Access.

ReplyDelete@Tim Streamer: He'd be new to the MCU. But, he first debuted in print in DC Vs. MARVEL.
ReplyDeleteJust one question: who's the character at bottom right dressed like a trans-Jenner Nightwing?
ReplyDelete@Anonymous: the new "improved" Huntress.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the original black-and-purple costume. :-(
