Continued from yesterday's cover, we see Adam has found an ally...
I watched The Clone Wars from time to time but was never that invested in the series. Still, I was jonesing for more Star Wars after The Mandalorian ended on Disney+, so I decided to watch the final season. The first episodes are OK, but the series really ends on a high note. The final four episodes are fantastic and action packed, some of the best Star Wars material since Disney acquired the rights to the franchise. Plus, they heavily feature Ahsoka Tano, a very cool character that will make her live action debut in the second season of The Mandalorian.
Adam will cross paths with Darth Vader later in his career, as told in STF #2832...
great cover. Just glad Darth never made it to Europe. I would hate to have to hear on a daily basis about The Reign from Spain.
ReplyDelete@HHH: Maybe he did, but it was sorted by the Ministry of Time. We'd never learn of it here, of course, since (as far as I know) there's never been a comic for them.
ReplyDeletePS: Still hoping for a cover someday where Luke tells the Joker, "I am your father!"
Maybe the MOT can prevent Adam Strange from dressing like a Morphin Ranger reject (by the time the alternate future version of STF #2832 rolls back around).
ReplyDeleteAnd that goes double for the altered future version of STF #2930!
ReplyDeleteThis is A Dam Strange way to fight an Empire. Since the bad guys don't care about breaking rules, it's time to throw out the old rule book. Kang? Time Trapper? It's time to get the Legends AND RIP HUNTER as well as Booster Gold. Look at the time streams for better info. Don't trust everything blindly, but see about expanding your data input. Doesn't the "dark side of the force" leaders use future sights?
ReplyDeleteFollowing Vader and Adam as they encounter each other is almost like trying to follow Dr Who and River Song. Adam needs a Boost!
Now, THAT would be a suitably zany team-up in its own right.
ReplyDeleteBooster Gold and Zarrko the Tomorrow Man!
Off topic:
ReplyDeleteRoss teamed up the original Captain (Shazam!) Marvel with Shazzan, Hanna-Barbera's genie hero a few years ago.
What if Billy Batson said his magic word slightly wrong ("Shazzan!") and became the genie?
Answer: Chuck's sister Nancy would probably have some unconventional wishes she wanted fulfilled in an unconventional manner. ;-)
ReplyDeleteRe: this cover? It makes me feel like saying...
ReplyDelete"May the Julie Schwartz be with you!"
P.S.---Tony DeZuniga? Didn't his sister Daphne play the "Druish" Princess Vespa in Mel Brooks' (criminally under-rated) SPACEBALLS?
