Batman & Robin meet Giant-Man & The Wasp

What's better than a crime fighting superhero?  A crime fighting superhero partnership, of course!  I thought that it was high time that these two heroic duos got together.

Batman and Giant-Man met on the blog twice before, once in 2010 and again in 2011... Batman first met The Wasp in  2010 and then shared another adventure in 2014...

  1. Ten years of incredible encounters! Covers with arts from different but fabulous comics artist that combine into one ... Stories imagined by Ross that we would love to read ... Teams composed of heroes with something in common - which is my favorite part here! -. It is truly a delight to visit this blog daily and be surprised by yet another creative cover of encounters possible only with Ross' passionate work.

Congratulations on the first decade completed, dear Ross.

We wish another decade and another decade of success for your talented art!

  2. Fair to say we, Ross' fans, feel the same as Paganini. And I swear I was just thinking about STF's tenth anniversary .

  3. Maybe we could get a team-up between Professor X and Negative Man? Besides Oracle, those are the only comics superheroes that I can think of who can work from home....

  4. Bruce knows Janet and then something happens and the rest is STF history. Very natural teaming. Amazing.

Later, Janet meets Zatanna and offers to make some fashions for her. Zatanna makes a 3D printer of cloth materials for Jan for parts. All kinds of team ups can occur.

  5. Gotta ask if you've ever considered a five-person team-up with Batgirl, Zatanna, Wasp, Invisible Woman, and Millie the Model? All facing off against Star Sapphire.

    "Rumble on the Runway" maybe?

  6. Great team-up Ross. Congratulations on 10 years. You mentioned Bob Kane in the picture credits, but the picture looks like either Bill Finger or Dick Sprang. Jaw just seems a little full for a Bob Kane Batman. Once again Corngratulation, your montage homages have kept me busy now for years, (and right now it's necessary to stay busy. :) )

  7. This cover has a feel of being real. All of them are from the same era of feeling. This feels special.

  8. A great Silver Age team-up. Giant-Man seems to be regarded as B class superhero but I think he's worth his considerable weight in gold to any cover he's on.
BTW, thanks @BobGreenwade for the Zatanna link. Really excellent fan film!

  9. The only team-up that might surpass this one?

    Deadpool meets The Super Six!*

  10. Bob, would they be fighting a villain who can work from home? Like Hector Hammond? Or just a mad scientist with a home lab or a generic computer crook or hacker?

  11. @Carycomic I don't know about 'Deadpool' vs. 'The Super Six', but ... speaking of 'SIX', maybe we can have the meeting between 'Secret Six' vs. 'Sinister Six'. And, still in this theme, maybe also: 'Thunderbolts' vs. 'Suicide Squad'. Unpublished meetings here yet. It would be incredible!

  12. Elementary, my dear Anonymous: The Dynamic Duo and their Marvelous counterparts are obviously battling the minions of the one foe they have in common...Egghead!

  13. @Anon@10:36: I had no idea who when I made the above suggestion, but Hector Hammond seems like a perfect choice.

  14. @Cary: I'd prefer it more if they were facing Elias Starr and his nickname-sake. The one who "coincidentally resembles" Vincent Price. That way, Ross could entitle it... "TWO EGGHEADS ARE BETTER THAN ONE!"
