I'm looking forward to the new Stargirl series. From the quick glimpses that we have seen so far, the character designs are faithful to the comics, which is a good sign. I hope for plenty of JSA action, but they may only be used in limited flashback scenes, so I'm not getting my hopes up too much for that just yet. I'd love to see Jack Knight introduced at some point. Hopefully, the episodes will balance personal drama and super-heroics well. Stargirl herself and S.T.R.I.P.E. look great I can't wait to see them in action.
Stargirl and Jolt first met in STF #2283...
I wonder what Electro plans to do? Become the next Zzzzzax?
ReplyDelete@Cary: why not? If only to have Ross use him for a second time. Zzzax, that is!
ReplyDeleteRoss: I do an occasional piece over at "The Legion of Super Bloggers" site. I would like to write something up featuring your site particularly, of course, as regards the Legion of Super Heroes. Since this would involve posting examples of your work I wouldn't want to do it without your permission. (Rest assured that what I've got in mind is complimentary.)
ReplyDeleteFeel free, Elmsley!
ReplyDeleteI think I've mentioned before my thoughts on the Doctor Mid-Nite costume: the glimpse we've gotten of Beth Chapel shows her in a copy of Charles McNider's outfit. As much as I like that design (I'm in the midst of creating a copy of my own), I hope we do get to see her in the yellow-and-black spandex design of the comics' Doctor Midnight.
ReplyDeleteOther than that, Ross, I agree with you on all points.
@Emsley: This probably goes without saying, but please be sure to post the link here! (Post it as a link, if you can manage the HTML.)
Do not watch TV anymore due to poor ISP Verizon who wants me to pay extra to record and wait to on DVD to watch.
ReplyDeleteI do hope however that Pat (S.T.R.I.P.E.) grounds her one time and we see the consequences.
Jolt doesn't get enough love. I've liked her character since she debuted in Thunderbolts.
ReplyDeleteRIP Albert Uderzo, the artist who created Asterix, who has died in his sleep, aged 92.
ReplyDeleteThe real question is How would Electro do handling Captain Atom?
ReplyDeleteHe'd get out-volted.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous1146: GROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAN!
ReplyDelete@Carycomic: that was a lejit Byrne.
ReplyDeleteIt needs some Bactine, stat!
ReplyDelete@Cary: Double-groan!!!!
