It will be interesting to see how Drax is portrayed in Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3. Killing Thanos was his life's goal, but when that was achieved, he was merely a bit player in the action. How does that affect him and what will he dedicate himself to now? One rumor I have read is that he will discover that his daughter still lives, so perhaps his new motivation will be in finding where she is.
Awwwwwwwww! I was hoping this version of Drax would be his original--1970's Superman analog--mode. :-(
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they can convince any serious actress to wear Moondragon's (Drax's daughter) original costume.
ReplyDeleteFun cover. And I'm in agreement with Carycomic - I can't stand the MCU Destroyer, which apparently got adopted as the current comic book Destroyer. If you want a character to challenge Thanos, you don't use a green Captain America - you use a flying Hulk (with the power blasts, yet!)
ReplyDelete@Jay: how about Natalie Portman? She obviously agreed to a buzzcut for V FOR VENDETTA!
ReplyDeleteAnnouncing the upcoming team-up of Kilowog and Kilowatt
ReplyDeleteThey'll light up your life like you wouldn't believe.
Is anyone "ever-Reddy" for Kilowatt?

And when they teamed up with Richard and Jack, they became the Ruff n' Reddy Riders.
ReplyDelete@Anon222: Natalie's already in the MCU, as Jane Foster (returning in Thor: Love & Thunder -- with Mjolnir in hand!).
ReplyDeleteThen, how about Milla Jovovich? Take away all that reddish-gold hair and you'd still have the sexiest kick-butt bald woman in showbiz!
