Metamorpho and Ms. Marvel

I remember being very happy when the Justice League cartoon first hit the airwaves.  I was thrilled that my favorite comic team was finally getting the animated treatment that they always deserved, and I didn't think it could get any better - and then I found out that Metamorpho was going to be a guest star in the first season, in a two-part episode no less!  Metamorphosis remains a highlight of the series for me.

  1. At least Stag Ind. has been highlighted in the Flash show. With Crisis, Anything can happen.

  2. I was disappointed that Black Lightning wasn't going to be a part of Crisis on Infinite Earths. Among other things, if that show and Batwoman were to take place on the same Earth, that would leave the door open to the future introduction of the Outsiders, including Metamorpho. Ah, well -- he could always still pop up on Legends of Tomorrow.

  3. They were all two-parters. Well, except for the premier and the finale, which were three-parters.

  4. WOW! Three Metamorphos in one month?! You really _must be_ a big fan.

Seriously, though: this could do very well as a prequel to STF #2595. Metamorpho being mind-controlled into going after Batman (arguably, the only one who could out-think the "Mad" Thinker) before being sent to steal whatever the latter wanted from the X-men. Which I would hazard to guess is access to Cerebro The Next Generation! Why? Again, just a wild guess.

But, I (ahem!) think he's looking for the location of the Orb of Atum in the hopes that it's mutagenic properties will revive his comatose nephew, David.
