Wonder Woman and Xena

These two really do need to share and adventure together someday.  Xena: Warrior Princess  was certainly inspired in some ways by Wonder Woman's comic and TV show.  Then, when WW finally became represented on the big screen, some cues were taken from Xena's series.  How cool would it be to see them fighting side by side?

  2. It would have been cool if studio had offered Lucy Lawless a role among Amazons in movie.

  4. I think it would be super-cool!

But, born-again Kevin Sorbo would probably say: "They don't have a prayer."

  5. Before Topps got out of the comic business they were planning a Xena/Wonder Woman crossover with DC.

  6. There was going to be a legit WW/Xena crossover but for reasons, DC has been sitting on the finished product. I say we riot ;)

  7. I'm with Glenn. Giving Lucy Lawless an Easter-egg cameo in one of the Wonder Woman movies would be an awesome move, second only to the possibility of giving one to Linda Carter.

  8. I agree with Bob. Maybe Lucy and Linda could make cameos alongside Melina Kanakaredes as Greek "goddesses" Artemis, Aphrodite, and Athena, respectively.

    The original Triple-A club.

  9. On that trio, I'd be more prone to putting Melina in as Aphrodite -- or, better, Cathy Lee Crosby.

  10. Oh, something off-topic that just came up at random:

Red Son and Red Sonja. (Maybe something where one is revealed to be the other in disguise? Nah. I'm not sure that could work even with all-new art, let alone stuff cut from elsewhere.)

  11. Don't forget that Lucy Lawless voiced Wonder Woman in the New Frontier DVD.

  12. Cool cover, except..."At the Mercy of Circe"? Really, Ross? It's not even that original! 😉

    Also *ancestor!

  13. @Bob Greenwade: But, Melina played Melina in the first two "Percy Jackson" flicks. So, I considered it only appropriate to put her back there. Unofficially, of course!

  14. @Daviticus: Not to mention, a contradiction in terms.

  15. Cloris Leachman was probably chosen as Queen Hippolyta because she was so cute as Phyllis Lindstrom in the Mary Tyler Moore Show (though certainly not the only feminine eye candy; also Phyllis Lindstrom looked cuter than Cloris Leachman when she was in beauty pageants).

  16. @Anonymous: she also looked pretty hot in that orange leotard she wore for aerobic exercise scenes with Mary and Rhoda on THE MTM SHOW, back in the Seventies! ;-D

  17. P.S. @ BG: I meant "Melina played "Athena." So, it'd be only fitting if she did so, again!

  18. Cloris Leachman has never looked hot.
