The G.I. Joe movies are hardly high art, but they both have some fun action sequences. I'm not sure whether the franchise is done, though. I had read rumors of a G.I. Joe/Transformers crossover film, which could be cool, but I don't know if anything ever came of that. Maybe everything hinges on The Rock's busy movie filming schedule.

ReplyDelete*Genuine species of rear-fanged venomous snake. Normally not considered a threat to people. But, knowing Cobra Commander, he'd probably order the genetic alteration of one for much more lethal potency.

ReplyDeleteThe animated original voiced by Charlie Callas? Or the CGI version that looked like it was made from the hedges of an English country garden?
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling that Batgirl (Cassandra Cain, Snake-Eyes' teammate in The Silent Partners) may step in on this story.
ReplyDelete@Bob & Cary: maybe she was the one _bitten_ by the genetically-altered cat snake.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous: if you mean Bat-Cass, then, yeah, that would explain Catwoman's sense of urgency. In terms of hard-luck backstory, only the Bertinelli Huntress comes closer to Selina Kyle's anti-heroic origin.

ReplyDeleteOr Snake Eyes (Nicholas Cage) vs. pre-Netflix Luke Cage.
